San Jose, El Salvador [Coffee Beans Introduction]

Juan Carlos Gregg inherited the San Jose estate from his grandfather and inherited a great legacy of pride and passion for quality. The 3.5 hectares are planted mainly to the traditional Bourbon grape variety, which is grown in Salvador and is known for its high cup quality.

Due to its size, San Jose Farm is maintained like a garden all year round, with trees being tended in the rainy season and harvesting in the dry season.

Quality control is excellently taken care of by CafeCate's experienced cultivation team, led by Agronomist Rodrigo Giammatti, and Juan Carlos, himself an agronomist, who is a firm believer in using innovative cultivation techniques to increase yields while maintaining high quality.

He believes this success is only possible with the cooperation of his workers, and offers annual leave, competitive wages, health insurance, etc.

As a young winemaker, Juan Carlos is proud of his incredible heritage and is committed to passing it on to the next generation.
